Ro Diaz
Born in Havana to a Cuban immigrant businessman
who fled an oppressive Communist regime, Mr.
Diaz is an accomplished artist who learned
early that there are those who will go through
life with little or nothing to call their own.
This thought has touched the heartstrings of
the artist and inspired him to use his artistic
talents to raise funds for the poor through
his artwork. Mr. Diaz holds a Bachelor’s
degree in fine art, and his work has been exhibited
in museums, galleries and private collections
across the United States. Recent exhibitions
include the Grace Cultural Arts Museum, The
L.A. Thompson Gallery, Gallery 209, The Pace
Collection, and the Florence Art Gallery in
Dallas. Many of his paintings are inspired
by the images he has seen and the stories he
has heard while traveling through the developing
world. Mr. Diaz joined the board of Lighthouse
Station in 2008.
